Contains scripts, student papers, magazine articles, newspaper clippings and news releases, brochures and magazines, reports, correspondence, reviews, research notes and materials, programs and playbills, song booklets and realia related to Hill’s research and teaching of Caribbean theatre, culture and playwrights such as Derek Walcott, Roderick Walcott, Douglas Archibald, Lennox Brown, Louise Bennet, Alwin Bully, David Edgecombe, Francis Quamina Farrier, Anthony Hinkson and Freddie Kissoon. Also includes materials related to the history of Calypso music, steel bands, carnival, African theatre and culture, South American theatre, black music, dance, and literature, African-American theatre and artists such as August Wilson and black theatre companies. A mask called "Dimanche" from the Trinidad Gras (1963) is also included.
