Contains further materials documenting Charles Edwards’ work with D-GALA. This box includes additional membership forms ranging from September, 1987 to June, 1994, arranged by group according to date and alphabetically by member within each group. Also included are miscellaneous notes, mailings, programs, pamphlets, photographs, and press releases, as well as examples of outside publications such as “The Dartmouth Review,” “In Your Face,” and “Outweek” magazine. Of note is documentation of the North East Lesbian and Gay Student Union Conference, the Pride Parade, and two political debates spearheaded by D-GALA: their fight to be recognized by Dartmouth Alumni Affairs, and their campaign to dissolve Dartmouth’s ROTC program due to military attitudes toward homosexuality.
