29 physical notebooks (that are labeled 1–30) composed by Gordon Day containing Abenaki language and field notes. Notebooks 1–4 (1960) contain notes kept by Day. Notebooks 5–30 (1961–1982) feature Saint Francis Dialect ranging from rudimentary concepts (such as counting) to more advance theories (phrases on emotion). Notebook 24 is not included.
