The collection contains a 57-page transcript and an audio recording documenting a discussion between Dartmouth alumni Budd Schulberg (D '36), Maurice Rapf (D '35), and Joseph Millimet (D '36). The collection also contains photos from this or another gathering. Lisa G. Millimet, Joseph Millimet's daughter, served as the interviewer for the discussion. Topics of discussion include the men's decisions to attend Dartmouth; social life on campus; their... experiences as Jews on campus; their professors and fellow students; the political environment on campus; the impact of the Great Depression; "The Dartmouth"; Schulberg's reporting on the Vermont marble strike and his subsequent conversation with President Hopkins; and the Dartmouth Hall fire of 1935.
