Topics of discussion include the men's decisions to attend Dartmouth; social life on campus; their... experiences as Jews on campus; their professors and fellow students; the political environment on campus; the impact of the Great Depression; "The Dartmouth"; Schulberg's reporting on the Vermont marble strike and his subsequent conversation with President Hopkins; and the Dartmouth Hall fire of 1935.
