The collection contains Carl Coleman Seltzer's typescript of his study of medieval Icelandic skeletons entitled "The physical anthropology of the mediaeval Icelanders with special reference to their racial origin." The monograph is based on the study of the skeletons which Stefansson found in 1904, and which are now housed in the Peabody Museum at Harvard University.
