Ross in which he describes Washington Life in general and wonders what Miss Ross might do if she was there and how he would like to take her to the parties. Describes one party given by the Woodburys (of N.H.) and the people who attended: Dolly Madison, Mrs. Amana Vespucci. Gives news of his family and encloses article by his son James.
