Description

The oral history interview of Irving Bender is comprised of one audiocassette recording and a tape log of the recording. The interview was conducted by Arthur Wilsonon May 6, 1975 in Hanover, NH. The entire interview runs for approximately one hour. Professor Bender describes the Psychology Department faculty and other colleagues including Professors Charles Stone, Chauncey Allen, Gordon Alport, John Poore, and others. He compares President Hopkins' and Dickey's administrative strengths and personalities and talks about relationships with the deans of faculty, Don Morrison and Bancroft Brown.
