Description
The collection contains Samuel Barrett's correspondence with Nathaniel Kingsbury (1798-1833), Lydia B. Richardson, Urania Barrett, Cynthia Locke, J. Bigelow and Amos Barrett. The letters contain mostly news of family and friends and are addressed to Samuel Barrett while he was at Dartmouth College and Ashby, Massachusetts. A booklet with medical terms and letters of recommendation are also included.
