Description
Three-page letter from Domingo Del Monte y Aponte in Madrid to George Ticknor in which he acknowledges receipt of a copy of Ticknor's "History of Spanish Literature." Del Monte has not yet written a review of said work, awaiting a Spanish translation y Gayangos. There is the threat oif Garibaldi's joining forces against Spain on behalf of the Cuban insurrection.
