Three-page letter from John Richards in Hanover to Roswell Shurtleff in which he wishes that Shurtleff's friend, Dr. Shattuck, would do something munificent for the College. Writer fears that Chandler Department will take rank of the College. Mann has given the writer his book. Rev, Mr. Case preached for the writer last Sabbath.
