Description

The Ernest Andrews papers include correspondence, articles, manuscripts and manual related to his work with Western Electric's Bell Telephone Laboratories. Of particular interest are the Bell Telephone computer operation manuals, an anonymous "History of the Development of the Panel Machine Switching System," and Andrews's symposium papers and articles on the history of Bell Laboratories digital computers.
