Stark Family papers
Description
The papers of the Stark Family contain correspondence between family members, primarily between Caleb Stark and his sons Caleb and Henry, and others regarding political figures and events of the day including Andrew Jackson, John Calhoun, John Quincy Adams, James Madison, and Jackson's campaign for president. Legal papers of the family as well as campaign speeches, poetry, essays, an account book and map are also included.
