The papers of the Dinsmore family relate primarily to Silas Dinsmore and his wife Mary (Gordon) Dinsmore and include family, personal and business correspondence as well as legal papers, and financial records of the family. Of note are the papers, including a diary, surveys and official reports of the time Silas Dinsmore was an agent to the Cherokee Indians.
