Wright Family papers
Description
The papers of the Wright family contain correspondence, diaries, journals, manuscripts, teaching materials, sermons, essays, genealogy, wills and obituaries. Members of the family represented here include Austin Hazen Wright (1811-1865), John Henry Wright (1852-1908), Lucy Myers Wright Mitchell (1845-1888), Mary Tappan Wright (1851-1916) as well as Katherine Elizabeth Wright and Mary Myers Wright Eaton. The papers also include documentation on Assyrian reliefs taken from Nimrud that are now part of the collection of the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College, as well as the teaching papers of John Henry Wright.
