Description

Two-page letter from Walt Whitman in Washington to Ralph Waldo Emerson, telling him that he has decided to offer the enclosed piece to the Atlantic before sending it abroad. Wishes Mr. Emerson to take it to Mr. Fields. [The piece presumably was "Proud Music of the Sea Storm" - Atlantic F'69]. Enlcosure lacking.
