Description
The papers of Isaac N. Blodgett contain personal and professional correspondence, legal papers including his will, which names Sara G. Blodgett and Anna G. Blodgett ah his heirs and executrices, and the probate court documents concerning the settlement of his estate. Documents appointing him Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of New Hampshire and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Hampshire as well as Letters from colleagues notifying him of his nomination and appointment and letters from friends congratulating him on his new position are also included. The collection also contains some material regarding the history of his family as well as a copy of the eulogy read at his funeral and a letter from him to his daughter Anna.
