The collection also contains 124 personal and professional letters from Churchill to a variety of people, including the journalists A. Marshall Diston and Henry Lucy, Sir George Egerton, Maxine Elliot, David Lloyd George, Lord Wolseley, Max Aitkin, A.J. Lamb and Admiral Foote. Of note is the correspondence between Churchill and Admiral Sir Roger Keyes, concerning the German naval buildup in the 1920s and 1930s, and correspondence with Lord Layton.
