Description

The papers of John F. Braun contain correspondence, worksheets, typescripts and other papers relating to his collecting of American Art. Correspondents include Joseph and Elizabeth Pennell concerning Braun's collection of Pennell's work. Materials relating to an exhibition of work at the Whitney Museum of American Art, lists of Braun's collection with purchase and sale prices, and worksheets for individual purchases are also included.
