Description
The collection contains Richard Campen’s letters written to his parents while a student at Dartmouth College. Topics covered include freshman orientation, the Dartmouth Outdoor Club activities, athletic events, Winter Carnival, Pi Lambda Phi fraternity, coursework in psychology and his opinions on U.S. foreign policy on the topic of Japanese imperial aggression. Photographs as well as printed material on various events on campus, such as the Dartmouth Outdoor Club hiking, freshman orientation schedule and football game schedule are also included.
