Description
The papers of Edward Lathem document his work as a researcher, writer, and editor, as well as his various roles at Dartmouth, including Dean of the Libraries and Director of the Montgomery Endowment. The collection contains correspondence and subject files arranged alphabetically. The material incldues files related to Lathem's involvement in the Montgomery Endowment; photographs related to his various positions at Dartmouth; research and writings on Robert Frost and Calvin Coolidge; files pertaining to the historical publications he edited; travel documents; and some personal documents. Correspondents include Charles E. Green, John S. van Kohn, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Geisel, Richard Eberhart, Ray Nash, Richard W. Moran, John Coolidge, Sinclair Weeks, Edward Hyde Cox, William J.
