Description
The Records of the Stinehour Press document the history and development of the Press, located in Lunenberg, Vermont, between 1950 and 2009. Founded by Roderick "Rocky" Stinehour in 1956, the Press was known for its attention to detail in graphic design, type setting, as well as extensive collaboration with clients and high quality printing of scholarly publications and fine art titles. After merging with the Meriden Gravure Company in 1977, the Stinehour-Meriden Press continued to offer printing and image reproduction until it closed in 2008. The collection consists of job envelopes, press proofs, correspondence, financial reports, job estimates, and other related material.
