Description

The collection contains two mathematical ciphering books in manuscript form by James Pike. One text is a mathematical textbook containing properties including addition, multiplication, division, reduction, vulgar fractions, simple interest, compound proportion, barter, trigonometry and surveying. The second text contains math problems related to plane trigonometry and surveying.
