Description

The journals of David Peabody contain an "Autobiographical Memento of David Peabody" in manuscript form, as well as a typescript transcription of it, chronicling Peabody's life through his time at Dartmouth College. A journal in two volumes covering his life after graduation is also included. In the journals which begin in 1831 and end just before his death in 1839, Peabody reflects on his life, his teaching and his preaching.
