Description
The papers of Maurice (Maury) Rapf contain personal and professional correspondence, newspaper clippings, scripts, screenplays, information regarding Dartmouth’s film studies program, sheet music, reels of film, student work, magazine articles, and playbills. Also included are travel documents and information about personal finances. The papers document Rapf’s experience in the film industry, his efforts to create a film department at Dartmouth, his time as a professor in the Drama and Film Departments at Dartmouth, and his later life in Hanover. Of special note, includes original copies of Rapf’s scripts.
