Malcolm McLane papers
Description
The papers of Malcolm McLane contains correspondence, photographs, military papers, journals, newspaper clippings, postcards, cassette tapes, digital video discs and compact discs containing interviews and video clips. Much of the material focuses on McLane’s time in the US Air Force. Of note are numerous letters to his parents documenting his time in training in the Air Force, a typescript account of an 1897 bicycle trip through downeast Maine made by his father, and a typescript account of McLane's time as a POW at Stalagluft I.
