Dartmouth College, Financial Aid records May Be Restricted

The collection contains correspondence, budgets, audits, meeting minutes, memos, reports, questionnaires, manuals, lists, newsletters,conference material, travel vouchers, invoices, loan files and requests for payment.

The material documents the activities of the Committee on Admissions and Financial Aid, the Consortium of Financing Higher Education, Title Four, specific aid to individual students, personnel searches from a variety of Dartmiuth organizations, as well as several studies of financial aid at Dartmouth, the awarding of scholarship and the civil investigative demand as part of the Justice Department's investigation into the financial aid practices of the Ivy League Institutions in the 1990s.

Files of Robert Hage'35, director of the Office of Financial Aid are also included.
