Description
The papers of Marysa Navarro contain personal and professional correspondence, newspaper clippings, reports, proposals, committee meeting minutes, pamphlets, flyers, posters, newsletters, conference materials, brochures and notes, documenting Navarro's involvement in and contribution to establishing a women's studies and Latin American studies program at Dartmouth College. The collection also contains her research material, primarily in Spanish, related to women's rights, feminism, and Eva Peron. Photographs, contact sheets, slides, audio and visual material, as well as some memorabilia are also included. Of note are her subject folders on the history of women faculty at Dartmouth College and the Foundation Years program.
Note: Significant portions of the collection are in Spanish.
