Description
Warren Chamberlain, Dartmouth College Class of 1920. Consists of personal correspondence between Chamberlain and artist Paul Sample and his wife. The letters refer to a range of personal topics including updates on Sample's progress on certain works in his studio, reports from trips, dealings with various art dealers and art competitions, and include a drawing of Chamberlain for a war portrait series. Additionally, the collection includes letters from Paul’s wife, Sylvia Sample and Christmas cards to the Chamberlain family from the Sample family.

Warren Chamberlain (1896-1981). Dartmouth Class of 1920 and roommate of artist Paul Sample, ’20. Chamberlain worked as the Federal Area Chairman for the Department of Commerce. The collection consists of Christmas cards from and to the Chamberlain family, personal correspondence between Chamberlain and Sample, and letters from Paul’s wife, Sylvia Sample.
