Description
The diary of John A. Barnham records two trips; the first describes a journey he took with a female companion through New Hampshire when Barnham was 21 years old. Entries include accounts of Lake Winnipesaukee, fording the Saco River and time spent waylaid in Crawford's Notch due to a lame horse.
