Stephen Harvard papers
Description
The papers of Stephen Harvard document his study of the art of stone cutting, lettering, graphic design, and bookmaking. The collection contains illustrations, graphic designs, and book designs created by Harvard for clients, frequently through Meriden-Stinehour Press. His work in typography is documented in all stages of production, from experimental sketches to final computer-printed samples. His collaboration with Adobe Systems on the use of the computer in type design is also represented through correspondence and other materials.
