Stephen Harvard papers
Description
This collection documents Stephen Harvard’s study of the art of lettering, graphic design, and bookmaking. Contains illustrations, graphic designs, and book designs created by Harvard for clients, primarily through Meriden-Stinehour Press. His work in typography is documented in all stages of production, from experimental sketches to final computer-printed samples. His collaboration with Adobe Systems on the use of the computer in type design is also represented through correspondence and other materials.
