Description

The papers of Lloyd K. Neidlinger contain correspondence between Dartmouth College President Ernest Martin Hopkins and Lloyd K. Neidlinger and concern Hopkins' interest in the professional life of Neidlinger and his efforts in attempting to secure positions for him at Dartmouth and the Taft School. Other correspondents include Dartmouth College Dean Craven Laycock and Taft School Headmaster Horace D. Taft. Manuscripts of radio broadcasts for the series "The Administration Speaks," including speeches on tuition and football are also included. The collection also includes an address of Neidlinger entitled "Some Observations on the Problem of Regulating Attendance," and a 1939 announcement on drinking, as well as the newsletter "The Bulletin" and some memorabilia related to Hopkins and his funeral.
