Description
The papers of Hester O’Neill contain financial documents including bills, bank statements, canceled checks and stock records, correspondence, manuscripts and drafts, clippings, photographs and travel documents, and research material on J. Edgar Hoover, including FBI documents as well as copies of some of her books. The papers document the author’s extensive biographical and geographical research for use in her writing. Most prominent are her studies of Scandinavia, her picture books for children, her work on J. Edgar Hoover and on Dartmouth College.
