Description

Diary of Roswell Tenney (1796-1866) beginning in 1822 while he was still a student at Dartmouth College. The diary entries of that year recount primarily his thoughts on the material covered in his classes with a focus on religious subjects and biblical quotes. Later entries describe his travels to find employment, struggles with his faith and studying divinity. The diary also contains sermons written by Tenney.
