Sutterton Windmill lease collection
Description
The collection contains indenture leases, bonds, bills and letters related to the Sutterton Windmill located in rural Lincolnshire, England. The earliest 13 leases are recorded on vellum in ink and many have wax seals and tags. The collection chronicles the changing ownership and repairs of the windmill for nearly a century and a half.
