Addressee's William Legge, 2nd Earl of Dartmouth, Sir Sidney Stafford Smythe, John Thornton, Charles Hardy, Daniel West, Samuel Savage, Robert Keen to Sir John Wentworth. Letter of April 28, 1770 recieved and also request of Trustees of Dartmouth College, dated Dec. 14, 1769, that Lord Bishop of London be made a Trustee for money collected by Mr. Occom; the purpose of which is to be applied to instructing Indian youth. This is Dr. Wheelock's original plan and distinct and separate from the College lately erected.
