Description

Four-page letter from Luther Clark of Claremont, New Hampshire to David W. Clark, relating experiences at Hanover where he matriculated 1811-1813. He had been expelled (for fracus following Sophomore appointments) and describes his appearance before the Trustees and their demands for reinstatement (confession, pray for forgivenessetc.) which Clark treated with "contempt." "Thus has ended my college career."
