Dartmouth College, Parkhurst Hall Seizure records May be restricted
Description
The collection contains correspondence, drafts, statements, clippings, reports, petitions, lists, and court orders documenting the response to the student seizure of offices on Parkhurst Hall, comprising an artificial collection of records from various College offices, primarily records from the Dean of the College, concerning the student takeover of offices in Parkhurst Hall, their arrest by civil authorities, and subsequent College disciplinary action. Includes files of Deans Thaddeus Seymour and Carroll Brewster, and of the College Committee on Standing and Conduct (CCSC) as well as records relating to the actions of Dartmouth professors Strauss and Knapp during the take over.
