Herbert W. Hill (1902-1981), professor of history and politician. Consist of papers documenting his career as a member of the history faculty at Dartmouth College. Also includes papers on his membership on the New Hampshire Fish and Game Commission, and his work with the New Hampshire Historical Society, his attempted career in New Hampshire politics, work as a member of the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO, and his directorship of Hanover Holiday, an adult and alumni education program.
