Contains research on Dartmouth’s medical history with emphasis on X-rays, maps of the world and town of Hanover, King’s reports “Class VI Highways in the Town of Hanover, N.H.,” and “Origin of Hanover’s Old Roads,” copies of his textbooks “Elementary Physics: Laboratory Manual and Workbook” and “Mechanics of Elastic and Flow Processes,” lecture notes for a talk at Braunschweig University, a collection of his writings on historical scientific apparatus... and their exhibition, a binder of reprints of several of his papers, notes for his Theromphysics and Optics courses, a binder of handwritten and typewritten versions of his papers, King’s correspondence as part of the Gravestone Restoration Committee and Hanover Historical Society, his paper “Comparison of Michroholographic Methods” written with J.T. Walton and Walton’s thesis “An Investigation of Holographic Microscopy,” and two photographs of the 1944 Physics Department and a U.S. Naval Training Unit at Dartmouth.
