Description
The papers of W. Byers Unger consist of clippings, notes, illustrations, brochures, pamphlets, photo albums, diaries, some correspondence and memorabilia. Most of the material relates to his career as a zoology professor at Dartmouth College, and as a PhD student at Yale. A set of diaries reveals his youth and his days as a student at Western Maryland College, Lafayette College and Yale University. Photo albums chronicling a sabbatical trip to Asia and Australia/Oceania and travel in the U.S, are also included.
