Hanover Water Works Company records

The collection contains accounts and balance sheets, cancelled checks, contracts, field notebooks, property deeds, photographs, inventories, equipment depreciation, reports, correspondence and memoranda. Also includes two volumes of maps showing water lines, hydrants, streets, buildings, property lines, and other information, for the village of Hanover and Dartmouth College. The material documents the administrative and fiscal proceedings of the Hanover Water Works Company as well as the physical construction of two reservoirs on Balch Hill.
