Frank M. Anderson papers

This collection includes the personal and professional papers of Professor Frank Maloy Anderson. A large part of the collection is his personal correspondence with his wife and two sons. A second aspect of the collection is professional correspondence and other papers from 1894 to 1942, the time he graduated from college until the time he retired as a professor from Dartmouth College. The collection also includes primary documents from the era of the American Civil War, mostly personal correspondence. Civil War era newspapers are also found in the collection.
